Home Sweet Home…The End…Almost

My last cycle of chemo is FINISHED! Thank God for His unfailing love and mercies. I made it home late Tuesday night and I was exhausted!! The entire day was completely draining, but in the end, I made it home and now I’m once again resting and recovering.

Although we’re close, we haven’t reached the end yet. I still need to have some additional tests and scans done in order to see how my body has been responding and once that is complete, the doctors will review and determine the next steps. Please keep on praying and as always, I’m thankful for them.

    We are heading off to the retreat this weekend. It definitely won’t be the same without you… Please pray for us… we’ll need it, haha

    P.S. – We made sure to have plenty of chocolate…

    Hey Bryan Chachen,
    I’ll confirm it with you we had PLENTY of chocolate left over. We had a lot of sugar in general left over. The retreat was awesome. I missed you there and I know all of us did. Can’t wait for you to come back soon =) Don’t forget I still got my skittles =) Praying for you

    Praise God!!! Thats awesome news!! we’ll pray that all the scans and tests come back better than normal!!!!
    to update you- the retreat went AMAZINGLY well–God exceeded all my expectations and completely flooded that place….worship had God’s fingerprints on it..and the Word was phenominal!!! Ps.Felix was the perfect vessel to be used- absolute blessing and definitely stirred up our hearts!!!! you and sherry were missed, but know we are pumped and fired up to continue to press through whatever lies ahead.

    Hello Bryan,
    I have been praying for you. I am glad to hear you are recovering and that your treatment is almost over. I have a verse for you:

    Is 43:1,2
    1 … “Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
    I have summoned (called) you by name; you are mine.
    2 When you pass through the waters,
    I will be with you;
    and when you pass through the rivers,
    they will not sweep over you.
    When you walk through the fire,
    you will not be burned;
    the flames will not set you ablaze.

    Our God is a Good God! Sometimes we go through hardship but our God has a plan for everything, every minute thing that happens. I’m sure you have the JOY – Jesus Over You! =] I’ll continue to pray for you, for a fast healthy recovery. We all miss you and Sherry! May God bless you and Sherry.
